personality:
Womanizer is one of the first words that come to mind after the name Chuck Bass is brought up. He's a player and he's practically famous for it here in New York. What else is he supposed to spend his crazy wealth on really? The guys a sleeze and someone that I would advise any new comers to stay away from though no one ever listenes, he has this odd magnettic pull of people, genrally women, and they just can't resist that swarv talking, money flashing player.
Under the whole exsterior Chuck isn't so bad, he has his week spots like everyone and when you push the right parts even he cracks a little though he refused to show it. You see, Chuck a proud guy most of the time and he likes people to keep believeing he's cold and kind of emotionless when he's kind of a wreck benieth it all.
Chuck's very much like an unsolved puzzle but he's one that's determined not to be made up. Because just when you think your making a break through with him, he come in and messes up all the puzzle pieces.

The most striking thing about Chuck bas when you first meet him is more than likely his very, let's just say original, style of clothing. It's all very uncasual and very formal, always exspensive. He often wears a signature scalf and he's hardly seen at school without it. Otherwise it's suits and tuxedos and bright colors.
Looking past the things he wears Chuck is relertivly atractive (though it's not so much his looks that bring in the ladies) short, neat brown hair, coffee brown eyes, farely pale skin. Sounds average but nothing about Chuck Bass is average. His look is just oddly attractive.

It was a beautiful day in New York City but Nathanial Archibald didn't have the time to take any of that kind of information in. He was back in New York for the first time in almost four months and he just happened to arrive back on the day of his mothers birthday. Unfortunatly. He thought it was stupid that he was expected to get her a gift when he had only just set foot on dry land and only an hour before arrived in town.Sadly his father had a good technique in getting Nate to do as he said when he said it. So Nate headed for the stores to grab something after about thirty minutes of arguing that he shouldnt have to. Nate had even used the complaint that everything he had bought this rather stuck up mother in the past had either been taken back, re-gifted or simply thrown away. Though she tried not to let Nate know, he knew. 'It's the thought that counts was what his father would always say while Nate followed along saying the words in his head at the same time as his father. Nate added on Moron when his father was finished though.
Nate had managed to get some random vintage pendant after a whole hour of looking around with some overly friends sales woman crocking down his ear about how beautiful everything his eyes landed on for more than a second, was. It had got to him so much that he had just snapped at her that she should just pick it out because he really didnt care. This was often how he got when he was made to do something he didnt want to. He got grouchy, especially when he had better things to be doing and more important things on his mind. The whole time he had been picking the stupid thing out his mind had been on the reason he was back in New York. Even if his mother was going to be lead to think Nate was back just to see her on her birthday --this was because his father had already jumped to that conclusion and not allowed Nate a word in edge ways to correct him -- she couldn't have been more wrong. In fact, Nate had totally forgotten about the whole ordeal right up until his father mentioned it when he bumped into him in the town house when he had intended to just briefly dump his things and get to what he was really here for. Blair. He had spent 3 whole months and 15 whole days thinking about her and Serena and then the past week thinking souly about her. He had made his mind up in the end. He knew that he wanted Blair and that he had always wanted her.
He felt like such a moronic idiot when he thought back to how much he had messed her around. She had been perfect for him. They had been perfect until he had started to doubt everything they were and everything that had been since playing in the sand box in Kindergarten. All because Serena had to go pronounced her feelings for him. Why had she even done that? That question still baffled him to this day but that was something he never would ask her. It was easier not to and he just wanted things with her to go back to how they had been before all this mess. He wanted them to both be simply friends again. He wanted everything to be back to the way they had been before this mess. He knew that was going to take sometime but for once he actually had it set in his mind that it was all going to work out in the end. It had to.
As he walked out of the small, overly expensive, vintage jewellers his mind was a million miles away, it was off on a trail of what he could and would say when he did finally come face to face with the girl he had so stupidly left behind. He sometimes even imagined it being like a silly little chick flick she had once made him endure two valentines ago where the guy was away for a year and the very first thing he did when he saw his girlfriend was kiss her and didnt say anything. He wasn't going to do that because it was far too cheesy and not very Nate-esk. Things like that didn't happen in real life even if it was cute and romantic and even if he knew Blair loved that kind of thing. He just wouldnt.
The heavy glass door swung shut with a 'diggle' behind him and as he turned the corner with his thoughts else where, his shoulder lightly knocked into someone walking the opposite way to the one he was heading in, snapping him out of 'nate-nate land' and back to reality. "Oh crap, I'm so sorry I was mil..." his voice trailed off when the brunette girls face flashed into view. He doubted that he was back in reality at all, he must have still been in 'nate-neat land' because coincidences like this only happened in the movies and in fanticy lands. "Blair?" it dripped from his lips without his permission since he was still trying to figure out how ironic this was and how it was happening at all. Because come on, of all the millions of people in New York he could have knocked into, it had to be Blair freaking Waldorf wouldn't it?
His ice blue eyes ran over her as if just checking he wasnt seeing things, that it wasnt just that he hadnt seen her for so long that he was seeing her in someone else. Nope, it was Blair, there was no doubt about it. He ran his eyes over her once more to check and just to take everything he had missed about her in. Once he had done this for a second time it dawned on him that he was actually going to have to talk to her right there and right then. His mothers birthday could wait. This was something he needed to do and it seemed like someone or something wanted him to do it right at that moment. He mentally cursed what ever it was controlling him and everything else. Fate or what ever it was, had caught him off guard now and he had nothing planed out to say to her. He was going to have to wing it and this fact worried him. Nothing ever seemed to come out right when he winged it and this conversation was something he couldnt get wrong.
