Blair rarely ever did anything around the city on a Saturday. Besides stay home. But this Saturday was different, for some reason she wanted to visit Times Square, she wanted to get out and go window shopping. Ugh do I have a fever! She thought as she ran into the bathroom to take her temputure. After finding out that her temp was normal. She sighed and quickly got dressed. She put a cute little black and white dress on that her mother made for her, and a pair of shoes to match. She headed out of her room, and soon out her home and looked around.
After her driver dropped her off to where she wanted to be on 42nd Street, she smiled and took a deep breath. She turned to her driver and told him not to wait for her, because even she wasn't sure what she was going to be doing today. Soe she told him to go and she would call if she needed him. She put her bag more comfortably around her arm and walked down the block. She loved the lights here and being down here made her whole enviornment change. She was actually happy, being alone. It shocked even her. But she smiled and continued to walk along the block, looking in all the stores. She knew she wasn't going to go home empty handed, she just needed to figure out what she wanted to buy. Something she needed to have.

Chuck had been bored shameless in his hotel suit at the palace, it was driving him crazy to be stuck in. To be left alone with his thoughts, his feelings everything he had done in the Summer. The fact that he had messed everything with Blair up. In the end, after a couple of glasses of scotch he decided he was going to go on a drive. He made the call and his driver had his limo ready waiting at the front of the Palace hotel for him. He wrapped his favorite scalf around his neck and headed into the elevator hitting the Lobby button absent mindedly just out of habit. There weren't many other places he went other than his floor and the ground floor, after all. With a quite 'ding' the doors slowly slid open and cleared his way, he walked purposfully through the lobby to his car and let the door slam shut behind him. "Just drive me around" he said as he leant back on the leathar seats with a short sigh escaping his lips.
The car wasn't driving around for too long before it arrived in the husle and busle of Time's Square, he remembered coming here when he was younger once with his father. It had supposed to be a nice 'father son' day out but, as always, Bart had been called for work just as they got there. Chuck was only 11 then but Bart handed the boy a credit card and told his nanny to let him get what ever he wanted. As if that was any consilation to a boy who had everything but attention? He looked out of the tinted window until his dark brown eyes landed on an all too familiar figuar walking on the side walk. The brunette was none other than Blair Waldorf. "Pull over here" he said swarvly to his driver, he would have said his name but he seemed to change by the day Chuck had given up trying. Though it was a dificult task to perform in Times Squar, the limo pulled up at the sidewalk as she had asked and stoped just where Blair was walking. "Well hello beautiful." he said slowly as he pushed the button and the black window wound down to reveal his face with a almost silent grinding sound as it slid into the frame of the black door.

Blair was enjoying her day out alone. She liked everything about Times Square, though she hadn't been there in a while. She observed all of the people walking around, in and out of the stores; laughing and talking. All going about their own business. She hadn't been here long, maybe about an hour or so, and still she didn't buy anything that suited her fancy yet. Well of course she wanted to buy things, but she saw nothing that pleased her enough. She wasn't really shopping though, she had her mind on other things, and Chuck Bass was one of them. She wasn't sure but she had been thinking a lot about him lately.
She was alone, all day and her thoughts were peaceful in her mind. Until that all too familiar voice spoke out behind her. She stopped walking, and turned around. She looked at him, and looked at his limo which she hadn't seen in a while as well. She smiled. "Chuck." She stated, as she stood there looking at him.

Chuck would never openly admit it, like most guys of his kind, the ones renowned for their one night stands and the with a reputation for bedding high numbers of girls, Chuck would never admit that he had feelings for anyone, let alone Blair Waldorf. Not that everyone didn't already know there was at least something going on there, Blair and Chuck were like the exact same person in different bodies in almost every way. They both loved money, attention, Parties and most of all, they loved scheming. It was the one thing that had kept them so close over the years they had known each other.
The subject had never been touched before Nate and Blair broke up. No one had dared to speek a word against the indestructable couple that had been Nate and Blair but most people had the image of Chuck and Blair in the back of their minds from the get go. "Yes, that would be me." he said in that flat, unemotional mono-tone way he often spoke. "Mind if I join you?" he asked but he didn't exactly for her permission and he opened the car door and stepped out. Without a word he closed the door but the limo lingered for a while, the driver waiting for Chuck to at least walk off before he pulled out.

Blair had been ejoying her day in Times Square. though all she was doing was window shopping for the past hour. But no matter she was having a pleasant day. She did stop at a starbucks to get a small coffee, a half an hour ago. She had just finished it and thrown it away before Chuck spotted her. She didn't really drink coffee, only when she needed to stay awake though. She'd been up for hours the night before with things lingering in her mind.
Things such as what to wear to the next party she was going to host, when she got a hold of Nate alone then would be their time, how Chuck felt with those horrid words she tossed at him the other night. All those thoughts were bothering her, Making her toss and turn the night before. Such a sleepless night. She watched as Chuck got out of the car and approached her. He seemed well like the Chuck she'd always known. Un emotional and stiff. That was Chuck for you. She smiled and looked at him up and down. She didn't mind him spending the day with her, not at all. Afterall she was getting kind of lonely. She smiled her sweet smile, her true sweet smile which she didn't show to many and gave him a slight nod. "It'd be an honor Mr. Bass." She said as she jokingly gave him a slight bow and laughed as she straightend herself out. A small smile curving her pretty lips.

Stiffly, Chuck was able to manage a smile at her sarcasum and walked along side her slowly down the side walk. "Oh, believe me mizz Waldorf, the pleasure is all mine." he took a short pause before a light smile curved onto the corner of his mouth "Ok, that's a lie, we both know you like my company much more than I like yours" he joked with a grin and a light exspression in his eyes.
Chuck hated the way that little Blair Waldorf effected him, the involentary feelings he had for her and the unevoidable, lingering pull of chemesrt between them. He despised it but love it all at one time, he didnt like the feeling of weakeness that came with it and he hated that it would mess up the reputation he had spent years perfecting but he couldn't help but love the feeling that she left in the pitt of his stomach when she left him and he couldn't help but crave the feeling of the smile she always put on his lips. An actual, nutural, unforced, un faked smile that he couldn't stop escaping no matter how hard he tried to keep it from surfacing. "Just don't kill me shopping, you know there's only so much I can stand" he warned her. Unlike most guys he wasn't so against shopping, must have been the fact that he could buy what ever he wanted or maybe it was that he was always in such warming company whenever he did do it. He wasn't going to complain about having to help Blair with a zipper on a dress that she couldn't reach, was he?

She smiled and laughed as he rambled on about being in each others company. She would never admit that she actually liked Chuck's company. Not even if she was alone, or lying in the street with a broken leg if her life depended on it. She would never admit it. Not to anyone. But Chuck was slick, he knew almost everything about her. And there was nothing she could do to lie about that. As they continued to walk down the block, Blair looked up and noticed a clothing store, she just had to go into. She grabbed the door handle and opened it, as they both walked in. A light smell of flowers filled the room as they walked in. Such a lovely aroma. Blair began to look through some of their clothes.
"Oh trust me my dear Chuck." She said as she stopped looking through the dresses on the rack and turned to face him. Their bodies only inches apart. She looked at his face and their locked her eyes on his. She lifted her hand and stroked his cheek with her finger, slowly and gently. " We all know that's not how I'd kill you." She said as her lips curved a wicked smile. "It'd be less painful if it were up to me." She said, and then she turned her back and continued looking through the dresses.

Chuck had been fighting to get the thoughts of Blair out of his head for weeks and weeks. He had invied who knows how many girls back to his place and still he couldn't get her pretty little face out of his head. He couldn't escape the thought of her. When ever he was awake things would remind him of her, places they hung out, the limo they had *cough coughed* in, the coat he had thrown over her shoulders when he walked her home one night, it seemed everywhere he turned there was something that sent his mind to her. When he was sleeping his head would on her too, almost every night he would dream of her in one way or another and it was driving him crazy. She had him caught up and there was nothing he could do about it but he couldn't stop fighting it.
Chuck smiled down at her and his skin felt oddly warm alond the area where her skin had touched his. His eyes still stared into hers while she poke and he couldn't help but grin a little. "There was me thinking you would make it as painful as you humanly could" he told her with his both brows raised a little. When she turned to the rack he let his eyes drift from her to the clothing infront of them landing on a deep orange shaded dress with a tight upper half decorated in diamons and sequins, the bottom half thigh high with layers of rooshing and ruffles. He picked it up and gave Blair a look as if to ask if she liked it. Most of the time he would never offer anything but judgment when she tried something on but for some reason the dressed jumped out at him and it couldn't hurt pointing it out.

Blair laughed, as she pushed through the dresses. Each one not so better looking that the last one. But to Chuck's comment she just shook her head. "No, Chuck... I couldn't have...." She began to say as she turned to him and saw the dress he was holding out for her to take. It didn't really jump out at her and say TAKE ME! But she'd try it on for him. She smiled as she took it out of his hands and walked toward the dressing room. As she was walking, Blair noticed that there wasn't anyone around them, or even near the dressing room. Oh what did it matter to her anyway. She walked into the room, and slid the curtain shut.
She hung the dress up on the rack, and stared at it while she began undressing. After a few short seconds, Blair was finally down to her bra and panites. She unclipped the dress off the hanger and stepped into it. She looked at herself in the mirror with it on, and it looked good on her. Now the only thing she needed to do was zipper up. "Oh, no. Chuck!" She called and she turned around and slowly slid the curtain open. She smiled at him, and she motioned with her index finger for him to come over to her. She turned around and let her hand fall to her side as she left the back of the dress fall more open a bit, only waiting for it to be zippered up.

The look that swept across Blair's face when he held up the dress for her wasn't as excited as he had thought or hoped but she was at at least willing to try it on. He followed her toward the changing room and waited outside He was just about to shout over a question along the lines of 'hows it going' when she spoke over him. He already knew what the 'oh no had been about before she opened up he curtain and turned her back to him.
He took the few steps forward to reach for the zipper and gently pulled it up to the top slower than was really necessary and his hands lingered at the top just tickling next to her soft skin when he was done."What would you do without me?" he joked before he stepped back slowly giving her space to turn around and show him the front. He had to say, from the back it looked even better than he had imagined and he was already pretty proud of his very untrained eye. He was good at judging things when they were on but couldn't picture things well when they hung shapelessly on a hanger.

Blair smiled to herself as he zippered the dress up for her. She knew he was going slow, she knew why too. She was having a lot of mixed emotions right now. Hanging out with Chuck, and well she didn't hear from Nate all day. But that wasn't bothering her, it normally would but she had other thoughts on her mind. And Chuck kept lingering there, he was on her mind a lot lately. And she didn't know why, or if that was good or bad. But she did know one thing, she knew what she wanted, and she knew she'd get it too. Things seemed really off today, which was making her think even more. She'd been going off into her own little world one too many times today.
Forgetting she had the dress even on, only took her a few minutes to notice what she was doing. As she was thinking about her thoughts, while standing there with the colorful dress on in the dressing room, she sighed. She shook her head lightly and turned around for Chuck to see how it looked from the front. She leaned up against the wall and smiled at him. She grabbed his hand and pulled him close to her. "I'd be lost." She replied to his question, as she let the tip of her nose touch his. She looked up into his eyes and lightly touched his lips with hers.

Blair's sudden reaction did catch him of guard when she pulled him close to her bit he did as she urged him to and stood close to her, without a second thought he let his hands fall gently to her hips and he leant in and kissed her In the back of his mind was a quiet voice that screamed at him that it was wrong, it screamed the name of his bestfriend, the guy who Blair should have been with but he didn't care at that moment. It wasn't safe to be doing this right out in the open, in a store where anyone could see them but he couldn't help himself.
He pushed his lips onto hers harder than she had hers to his and the screaming got louder, so loud he couldn't ignore it any longer and he reluctantly stepped away from her. He was surprised he had done it but his hands still sat on her waist breaking the space between them and his eyes look deep into hers "What about Nate, Blair?" he said quietly and his hands slowly slipped from her sides and rested at his side.
He was never the kind to have a concience but Nate was his best friend and it wasn't as bad when he didn't know but if he found out then he had no udea what would happen between all of them. Nate had always been there and it was so wrong to mess with that but it was getting harder and harder to resist her.

Blair enjoyed the kiss that her and Chuck were having, and she enjoyed it even more when he pressed up on her lips harder than she had to his. It felt good. It felt really good, and she was glad he kissed ehr back. But i was wrong and she knew, she just did it on the spur of the moment kinda thing, she wasn't sure why she did it. Normally it'd feel weird, but not this kiss, this kiss felt right, but she couldn't admit that not to Chuck, nor herself. And when Chuck pulled away he was right. She was wrong.
She sighed and looked down. She wasn't sure what to say, she wasn't even sure if she was sorry. She was very confused. "You're right, sorry. I shouldn't..." She said and then looked up at him. She placed her hands at her sides and she looked deeply into his eyes. He was right, she was in no position to do anything like that. And what would she do about Nate? Telling him would be the right thing to do, but did she really want to tell him? If she told him what she did, she'd hurt him. She wasn't too happy when seh thought of that. She didn't want to hurt him. He'd been so good in their relationship this time, and now she was the wrong one. After all she did love Nate.
She looked at Chuck, and his face. "It felt right!" She said with anger in her voice. She sighed loudly and threw slid the curtain closed once again so she could get changed. She forgot about the zipper which made her even more stressted as she opened it once more and turned her back to him.
"Zipper." She said coldly as she waitied for him, wondering what he was thinking.

Every fiber in Chuck's body had wanted him to carry on the kiss, the prangs of eletric that ran though his veins for that brief time had forced him to kiss her harder and had he had his way he wouldn't have pulled away but his head was, evedently, much stronger than his urges, his will power much better than he thought. He felt sick when he looked into her eyes and saw how she was thinking about the way she loved Nate but there was something warming behind them that had nothing to do with Nate.
He glanced down when she did and part of him wished he hadn't stopped the kiss at all. It would have made everything now much easier though the aftermath if he had carried on, would have been much worse. When she said how right it had felt he couldn't argue and he couldn't explain it He just stayed quiet until she went back into the curtained cubical.
When she came back out her undid the zipper pushing it down much faster than he had pushed it up though he didn't let go for some reason. "I'm sorry too" he said quietly and paused "Sorry I stopped" with that his body took over again and he blanked his head out, turning her around and gently pushing her back into the dressing room yet pulling his body up to hers as his lips pressed against hers once again. What was she doing to him? He was never this, uncontrolable. He held her with one arm and the other pulled the curtain closed to hide them from the rest of the world just before the store cashier woman came back from the stock room she had vanished into. He just couldn't fight the urge to put his hands on her.

A small smile lit up in Blair's head when Chuck said how he felt. And she was glad he felt the same way she did. And when Chuck pulled it closed to hide them from everyone, as his lips were up against her own, she should've felt horrible. She should've felt the guilt wash over her. And most of all she should've pushed him away. But she didn't. She kept kissing him, but this time her lips were harder than she had them before. Her kisses this time were filled with happiness.
She was so sure this is everything she wanted right now. Her hands slid up Chuck's jacket and grabbed onto his collar pulling him closer to her, and as she leaned up against the wall, she wrapped one arm around his neck. Her mind kept playing Chuck's words over and over again Sorry I stopped, that made her all the more happier inside.
But was Blair really happy right now? She was getting what she wanted, but why wasn't she feeling any regret. She smiled, and kissed him a bit harder now. Nate wasn't even on her mind.
