Nate hadn't seen Blair since everything with Chuck and the fact that they were apart more than usual wasn't a comforting feeling. He knew he had done her bad before, before Serena left for boarding school and he knew there was only so much he could accuse her of, there was no solid proof of anything going on between them but something in Nate was making him sure there was something and the rumors and everything just made the feeling even worse.
Then again, Nate thought about how close he was with both of them. Chuck was his bestfriend and Blair had never given him reason to doubt her honesty before. This was the way he pushed the idea from his head. The image of his bestfriend and his girlfriend from the movie real that seemed to keep repeating it's self in old fashions style in his mind. He was so distracted by everything he was totally blanking out everything he heard in ever class. His other lacross friend had spoke to him and he hadn't even noticed. His math teacher had asked him a question 6 times and it had taken a nudge in the side to get him to answer. He was acting like a zombie and he knew it but he was so preoccupide he couldn't focus on anything but not focusing on Chuck and Blair. It took a lot of effort to not think. You know.
When the bell went he headed over in the direction of Constance and saw Issabella on her way towards St.Judes "You seen Blair?" he asked her, interupting the conversation she was having with Kati. She shook her head and Kati spoke for her "She left after first period" the girl informed him with a small shrug and then continued walking over to the boys school. With that he stopped and sighed taking a seat on the closest wall and pulled out his cell phone before he stuffed it back into his pocket, he didn't want to message her right now because he didn't know what to say.

School was over now, or at least for Little Jenny. She was walking out of the school with the phone held up to her ear. She laughed a bit, into the reciever and looked down as she walked. But when she looked up she noticed Nate, and he looked like he had a lot on his mind. He looked very upset.
Jenny mumbled into the phone and she got off that call really fast. She slipped her phone into her jacket pocket and approached Nate. As she walked closer to him, she noticed how distraught he really looked. His hair looked like he didn't brush it this morning, his tie was crooked, he even looked like he was loosing color in his face. When Jenny stood only a few feet from him, her smile slowly faded.
"Hey." She said as she looked at him, and looked in his eyes. She saw a lot of sadness. "Is everything okay?" She asked him, still looking at his face.

Nate sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose between his thumb and his index finger trying to ease the headache that all of this drama was causing, the words that whirled around his head in an echo of ununderstandable sentences. His head couldn't have been helped by the fact he didn't sleep at all the night before. He had lay, wide eyed, looking straight up at the empty space above his king sized bed trying not to think. But at the late hours when he wanted to sleep, he let his guard down in a last attempt to get some shut eyes, that was the worse idea because, though he had got to sleep, his dreams had stopped it lasting very long. Dreams he didn't want to think about or relive ever again. Maybe he would just never sleep again? That sounded like a good idea if it meant he didn't have to whitness that god aweful nightmare again.
Under his eyes were black rings that he and poked and prodded at a little that morning before he headed out for school. He hadn't brushed his hair after his long, steamy, shower and hadn't spent even half the time he usually did on his appearence. He dressed and left. That was it. He had left incredibly early and hardly noticed he had gone in such a blur that morning. With the extra time he had made a visit to his old regular spot in Central park and smoked a join to try and, well, just make everything seem a little easier. It didn't work.
Nate looked up from his slightly grazed nuckles when he heard a familiar voice and manged a very false and forced smile, just to be polite to the cute little blond. "Hey, J" he said quietly. With her question he just shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really know... It's just all this crap with Blair and Chuck and everything" he confessed easily. He was sure she had heard about it, it was the one thing everyone was talking about. Thanks to Gossip Girl.

Jenny pulled Nate over to the side, and reached in her bag for an extra yogurt she had. She got a plastic spoon out and handed them both to him. "Here." She said with a serious yet small smile on. "And please don't give it back, you need to eat." She said as she nodded at him.
She didn't like seeing him like this, after all they were close, and they were friends. And only friends. Jenny wanted more than that but she knew, she couldn't have it. She just wanted him to be okay. And well to behimself again.
She pulled him over to where the steps were so they could sit, cuz Nate looked like he was going to fall on his face. And she didn't want that cuz then she wasn't sure how she was going to get him on his feet again. She looked next to him, and well, she fixed his hair a bit for him, only to help him out of course. "Nate, you have to let things be what they are. What do you want?"

Nate looked at the yogurt she handed him and maneged a small smile at her consurn. He had had one bad nights sleep and a little bit of drama and she was ready worrie sick about him. He wasn't that bad, things weren't that bad. He was about to tell her he was alright before she protested and sighed in defear following her to the stairs. "I'm fine Jenny. Just a rough night" he said, he glanced to his hand again though he wished he hadn't he had hoped no one would notice because if they didn't no one would make the connection to the bruise on Chucks face.
Of all the things Nate felt, confusion was the strongest feeling. He had no idea what to think right now, who to belive and how to react to what ever he did belive. He just didn't know what he was going to do at the end of all this.
He took a seat on the stairs and placed the yogurt next to him for a moment and looked at her in a slightly baffled way. "What do I want?" he repeated not knowing what exacly she meant. It was such an open, vast question he didn't know what answer she was looking for.

Jenny giggled a bit when Nate looked at her and he repeated her question. She should've explained more. She shook her head and smiled a bit and then sat next to him. "I meant what do you want to do about the whole situation?" She said as she fixed the head band she was wearing. It began to bother her, in the back of her ears, and she didn't touch it all day whcih only made it worse.
But she fixed it now and smiled at him. She knew what was going on, but most importantly she wanted to be there for him. be a friend for him, because when she needed him all those other times in her past... he was there for her. Now it was her turn to be a friend and to be there for him.

He had to admit, he felt like a bit of an idiot in the way she had had to fix his hair, feed him and sit him down but really, what were friends for? Maybe someone should have told Chuck that. Just having Jenny here had made his mood pick up a little, eased some of the stress just by talking to him rather than avoiding him like everyone else had. Even Blair was doing it.
"That's the problem" he said with a slighlt huff. "I don't know what to believe and even if I could decide, I'd have no idea what to do with the information." he told her hoping she could help him with that. Maybe she knew who he should believe because he, personally, had no idea. He didn't want to accuse them, he found himself unable to accuse Blair when she was around because she was just so convincingly innocent.Yet he had no problem hating Chuck at the moment and had no problem accusing him of making a move on Blair.
"Help me?" he said, this was much more Nate-like than the other things he had said, more sarcastic and less serious and it even brought a natural smile to his lips for a moment or two. As sarcastic as it was, he really was desperate for someones help. Anyones help because maybe something from the outside of this triangle would be more insiteful. That was what he hoped, anyway.

Ok so Nate wasn't sure what to do. She didn't blame him though she'd be confused too if she were in a situation such as his. She realized all the info that Gossip Girl posted on the internet about whats been going on. Well things weren't just about Nate, Blair and Chuck and their triangle. She was in it too. But she didn't care, Nate needed help, and she knew she'd do all she could to help him.
After Nate was done talking, and Jenny listened to him, she let out a small sight of her own. Then something came to her. She smiled a bit, and leaned closer to Nate, so no one would hear what they were talking about. After all, the last thing she wanted was for this conversation to be on Gossip Girl.net and have the whole Upper East Side reading it. She she moved a bit closer to Nate, and folded her hands in her lap.
"I'd be glad to help." She said with a sweet smile. "You've been dating Blair for a really long time, and Chuck has been your best friend for a while now too." She said restating the facts. "Nate." She said as she looked up at him. "You have to figure out who's really telling the truth here, and who isn't lying to you. Try looking past the surface, and watch what actions they do. If their actions are a bit more unusual than normal, or what you're used to seeing from them, well I think that will answer a lot."
